The McAlpine SOAK1GR Soakaway Container is a product designed for use in drainage systems. It is made from high-density polyethylene and has a capacity of 160 litres. The container is designed to be used with limestone chippings as the filtration medium. The dimensions of the SOAK1GR container are 110mm x 300mm x 1.25"/1.5", which is the size of the pipe top and side inlet connections. This means that it can be easily connected to standard 110mm drainage pipes. The purpose of a soakaway is to allow excess water from a drainage system to be dispersed into the surrounding ground.
